تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى بيان مفهوم الجدل لغة واصطلاحًا، مع توضيح علاقته بالمصطلحات المشابهة، كالحوار والمناظرة والحجاج، من خلال بيان أوجه التشابه والاختلاف، مما يساعد في ضبط حدوده ومجالات استعماله، ويتناول نشأة الجدل وتطوره، ودوره في دفع الشبهات، وإثبات الحق، وتقويم الأدلة، مما يبرز أهميته في بناء المنظومة الفكرية والاستدلالية، وكذلك تبرز هذه الدراسة علاقته بعلم أصول الفقه، حيث يُعدّ أداةً منهجيةً رئيسة في بناء الأدلة وترجيحها، وقد ارتبطت دراسته بالعديد من المصنفات الأصولية.
This study aims to examine the concept of dialectic (Al-Jadal) from both a linguistic and terminological perspective, while clarifying its relationship with related concepts such as dialogue, debate, and argumentation. By analyzing their similarities and differences, the study contributes to a more precise delineation of the boundaries and applications of dialectic.
Furthermore, the research explores the origins and evolution of dialectic, its role in dispelling misconceptions, establishing truth, and assessing arguments, thereby highlighting its significance in shaping intellectual and evidential frameworks. Additionally, this study investigates its connection to Usul al-Fiqh (Islamic legal theory), where dialectic serves as a fundamental methodological tool in the construction and evaluation of legal arguments. Given its pivotal role in jurisprudential reasoning, dialectic has been extensively discussed in numerous scholarly works on Islamic legal methodology.
